Panoramaroute / Panoramic route

Na weer een lange, drukke maand is afgelopen weekend de tweede off week begonnen. Samen met een Duitse en een Italiaanse student heb ik een auto gehuurd om verschillende dagtripjes te maken. Naast twee bezoekjes aan het Kruger National Park hebben we ook de Panoramaroute gedaan. Dit is een 180 km lange autoroute die dwars door de Drakensbergen loopt. Onderweg kom je verschillende watervallen, prachtige uitzichten en bijzondere natuurverschijnselen tegen. Hopelijk geven de twee foto's hieronder een beetje een beeld van hoe mooi het langs de Panoramaroute is.

After another long and busy week, the second off week started last weekend. I have rented a car together with a German and an Italian student to do a couple of day trips during this week. Besides going to the Kruger National Park twice, we also did the Panoramic Route. This is a 180 km long roadtrip which runs through the Drakensbergen. Along the route, you'll come across several waterfalls, beautiful viewpoints and special natural phenomena. I hope the two pictures above show how beautiful it is along the Panoramic Route.
